Best Dropcatching service for .com?

snapnames.com ive always used and i think they have the most success, the domain goes to auction though if more than one person backorders.

The usual suspects - snapnames & pool are probably still your best bet.

The .com drop market is a little more mature than here in the UK and a lot of the main registrars now send their dropping domains to auction rather than let them drop as they once used to.

tdnam for godaddy
namejet for NSi and enom

To name but a couple.

The .com drop market is fierce and their are quite a number of domainers and orgs with deep pockets, paying (imho) way over the odds for some average domains.

I tried, albeit unsuccessfully recently, to nab adpal.com in an auction at namejet but it ended up too rich for my blood.

That's my worry, about the Auction.
I know of a domain name that will more than likely drop in 2009. However if it were to go to auction I know it would get too rich for my blood to.

As said previously snapnames and pool are best (they control so many registrars dropcatching abilities) but namejet seems to be getting better imho, plus enom and NSi are some of the largest registrars. TDNAM works differently in some ways and isn't so much about backordering as waiting for them to expire form peoples godaddy accounts (note tdnam is rubbish at dropcatching from non godaddy or wildwestdomains registers).

If anyone want a php code to produce a list of 2 or 3 or 4 letter domains in the format snapnames or namejet wants so you can mass backorder all these domains PM me. I have a nice one which doesn't overload the server its being used on :)
