Yes if you can make an App and have the skills. But there is still plenty available on the open web. Especially now google has killed the notion that you needed a ton of links to get anywhere.The money game now is making a sucessful app !
I owned both .com and .co.uk of my name and thought it would never amount to much so I let them go in about 2003.
