Wow some great sales on this weeks DNJournal

Barry's purchase of gold.co.uk is on there, along with with Ty's purchase of clocks.co.uk

The surprising one for me is Bathroom-Tiles.co.uk £5,425 = $8,246 - this looks to have been bought by the owner of the unhyphened version

Surprising in a good way though :)

Here are some others

FibreBroadband.co.uk £8,500 = $12,920
TheBible.co.uk £5,600 = $8,512
AdsForFree.co.uk £5,000 = $7,600
Gamesmaster.co.uk £4,500 = $6,840
leadershiptraining.co.uk $3,588
cityfx.co.uk $1,750
thecostumeshop.co.uk $1,520
breakersyard.co.uk $1,368
sportsexpert.co.uk $1,140
airportcar.co.uk $1,050

I love the way DNJ describes Sedo as having "a monster week" - some of their customers had a pretty monster week last week as well... Or should that be "monstrous"?? :-(

Interesting that a certain adult name beginning with "d" didn't make it onto the sales list. It certainly went for enough to qualify, but probably a bit too risque for a mainstream publication.

Re. Bathroom-Tiles.co.uk, if the new owner was getting great results from the unhyphenated version and could afford it, they probably bought the one with the hyphen to slam the door permanently shut on competitors (even the wooden spoon prize is now lost to them).

Clocks.co.uk was a great buy by Ty for that money.

What about freetea.co.uk at $1,520? Would have loved to have seen the volume of "reg fee" comments in the appraisal section for this one. Just shows you never can tell.

Yep I was also surprised, however it might be as it hasn't 100% completed yet, so isn't a reported sale so to speak
