Yes, thinking of either flipping domain, depending if any offers come via Acorn.
approaching industry looking for end users or else develop.

If it's the later, a web 2.0 UGC site seems more exciting and organic than a straight directory of bands. Uploading music, voting for favouriites etc etc and free tracks to download...

If I were you I would follow Paul's example with recycle.co.uk and get some content / site / decent traffic going and then sell it as an active website. This should bring you more interest and a higher selling price.

I guess the tricky part is providing content knowing if it is legal or not plus video download sites can cost a lost in hosting fees.

Keep us posted on this one, it has huge potential.

Agree with Admin, you will only realise good value from this if you develop it a bit first, it's a great name with good potential but no one will pay anything near a top price for the domain alone.

Anyone willing to stick their neck out and give an indication of what I should be looking for as an end user sale?

Off the top of my head, £12,000 - £20,000. It won't be an easy sell though, because the value is in the development and there's already Myspace. Record companies are a bit strapped for cash at the moment.
