If you had listened to the real domain investors who genuinely tried to help, the forum might have had a chance. Unfortunately, it’s now overrun with adverts and cluttered with unnecessary feeds.Good morning Phillip,
We are currently working on the live auction feeds > implementing Majestic API there.. this will help to filter out your favourite auction platform, for example Domain Lore, and seeing quality SEO data. The approach will be perfected here at Acorn Domains, and only when complete > will be implemented in other forums we own (helping the hunters of the TLDs specific to those forums/countries).
I have to note that we are displaying live data, not past data (many do this - as this is a much cheaper approach, and some have even found workarounds).
Did you know Majestic are based in Birmingham? Super cool company!! There is a high probability of their Founder and CEO doing a presentation at the next London Domain Summit.
Life as usual - avoiding negative vibes, working on my hosting business (lots of boring work), planning Domain Summits (with no stress) and keep networking.
.. flying to Copenhagen today > planing a stream/interview with Thomas, the former COO of One Registry (now Thomas devotes 100% of his time working on Nicky.me - great product).
Yes, secondary UK market is doing great! I keep also hearing of 5 figure deals that are done in private. Good for the UK!!
Happy New Year!
Let’s face it—engagement has dropped significantly, and most of us have moved on. Forums were relevant in 2004, but it’s 2025, and the industry has moved forward.
It’s time to embrace better opportunities and move on to more effective platforms.
