Nominet Ashley La Bolle and Rex Wickham named Nominet Board Directors

Following this years’ member elected director election, we are pleased to confirm that Ashley La Bolle and Rex Wickham have joined the Board from Wednesday, 16th October 2024, for a three-year term.

Ashley La Bolle is Vice President of Domains at Tucows and is responsible for overseeing its registry business. Now in her second term as a Nominet NED – she first joined the board in 2021.

Rex Wickham is a co-founder and director of 2020Media, a business providing web services, including hosting, domain names, email, and connectivity.

Rex was chair of Nominet’s UK Registry Advisory Council (UKRAC) from 2021 to 2024.

Thanks to all the candidates who took part in this year’s election.

At the Annual General Meeting the following resolutions were passed:

1. The annual report and financial statements of the company for the financial year ended 31st March 2024 were received
2. Haysmacintyre LLP, Chartered Accountants and Statutory Auditor were reappointed as auditors of the Company
3. Andrew Green was re-appointed as an Appointed Director and Chair for a term of three years
4. Eva Lindquist was re-appointed as an Appointed Director for a term of three years
