Well, I pm'd Rob this morning offering to point out errors in his text, and he responded by thanking me and asking me to let him know what these were. So, in this case at least, he seems prepared to take advice. I'll know when I next check his website.
Maybe his post is a marketing ploy, but it could also be a genuine cry for help, and I think he certainly needs it. Perhaps I'm not as shrewd as you guys, but I like to speak as I find until I have reason to do otherwise. I bought an excellent and well-respected web editor recently and the advertisements for it are very similar to Rob's. The hard sell doesn't always mean a bad product.
