Hi Guys,

Would really like some guidance from those that know what the domain axis.co.uk might be worth and the best way of selling it. It comes with the .uk domain.

Many thanks in advance.

Dao - "Decentralized autonomous organization" it's one of the most trending keywords at the moment.
meta.uk sold to FaceBook, so most likely the owner of Metaverse hope the same, but it's unlikely IMHO.
Your examples do not actually represent the current reselling market.

Nothing wrong with reaching out to some companies. Either sit on it and wait for someone to come to you (could take years) but you will get a higher price.

Or outbound for a quicker sale i would say mid-high xxxx is realistic for a quick sale with some luck.

We've auctioned 68 domains over the last month or so and done outbound marketing. We've sold 52 and only two have gone to end users, one for £90 to a tiny cafe in the town (a geographic domain) and the other for just shy of £300 for a keyword domain that's a peach for his business. In the conversation I had post auction with the chap that won the keyword domain, he explained that he got the email and decided to have a bid but wasn't desperate to own it and has no plans to use it.

I used to say that domains are lottery tickets but actually they're more akin to premium bonds where, if you've bought sensibly, you should be able to get your money back but while you own them your number may come up.

I would say worth low ££££ to the average Joe for an easy sale, you could wait it out for more but depends on your priority. I waited 15 years for my biggest sale back in early 2020 ($100k usd) just came out of the blue but before that nothing, nada not a sniff, and I always thought they were good domains but cliche time it only takes one (rich!) buyer who wants it bad. I don't know about anyone else but 2021 was dead for me but in 2022 I am getting offers again feels like some life back in market.

[QUOTE="All I was trying to suggest is that the amount the OP could expect to achieve would be highly dependent on how quickly he needed to achieve it.[/QUOTE]

Had the domain for 20+ years and no hurry so taking my time to learn about the market and how best to g about selling it.

Must say you guys on here are a great source of information, thank you all.
