Wanted: Domain Appraisal Appraisal - carina-e

I've been umming and ahhing over whether I should post this or not, as this was one of my first sites and I still have a strange affection for it!

Anyway, the domain is carina-e.com
It has been run as an owners club for Toyota Carinas now since Nov 2003 so its nearly 5yrs old. Current stats are -
Google Page Rank - 1
Alexa Rank - 9,181,005
Monthly hits - approx 90k (from myserverworld stats)
Appears top in Google for Carina E (out of 4.7m), and top 10 for Carina (out of 26m).


So yeah, if anyone could give me an idea of if the domain/site has any value, or if I'm just being over sentimental about it, I'd be very grateful :-D
And as a certain AD member said to me, maybe I should upgrade to an avensis

Not keen on the name, around £125 for the name maybe??!! reasonable market though so prob good traffic. I would put some google adsence ads on the site and start to make some money :-|

If a site has genuine traffic, then the site has some value, it's as simple as that. How valuable depends on how well you can get the traffic to convert, but if it's your aim to start making some money then there are affiliate programmes for car insurance, car loans, I even saw an affiliate programme for Autobulbs Direct on Webgains, then of course there's Halfords ... the opportunities are there if you have the traffic.

yes has accelerator said with that kind of traffic it will always be worth a few quid,does it make much revenue?,personally i think they are probably the most unreliable car on the road,i had a customer in three times in a year with a lambda sensor fault,head gaskets go frequently and trying to get one through an mot is a nightmare,the best engine was the early 5a/fe bullet proof on the carina 2,it should be supporting itself with that kind of traffic but because of it's age and been replaced by a newer model i would hold onto it and probably register an avensis domain and advertise it from your carina site,all the best with it.
