PS I also own the following:

british-film.co.uk

as well as:

worldcinema.co.uk
world-cinema.co.uk

Any one prepared to take a stab at what these are worth? Personally I like them, but I'd be curious to hear what others think.

britishfilm.co.uk
the 's' would have made it so much better - you could try and buy it?

it has value lot of google action but end user only - trader would be looking for both really. though not really sure....... britishfilm.......britishfilms

content or a website might give some advantage

dunno

britishfilm.co.uk & worldcinema.co.uk

Hi,
i really like these 2 domains. If someone bought the pair then nice to have the hyphenated versions, but not really important. I think 2 separate buyers would be interested though.
I actually prefer britishfilm to the plural version. when you say them, the singular version rolls off the tongue better.
also film is 'plural' sometimes. i.e. the film industry.
anyway, different opinions.
i would say mid £xxx each at least. britishfilm is the best one & worth putting in some legwork. an enduser is what you're after. (you won't get anything off the tight sods on here ;)
an enduser may not bite straight away, but at least an email lets them know they're out there.
a nice pair, hang onto them until you get a good price.
cheers, Predator

Thanks very much for your comments.

As regards britishfilm.co.uk vs britishfilms.co.uk, personally I prefer the former as it relates to the entire industry or genre (eg British Film Institute) but that's obviously a matter of opinion.

I think my plan for the time being will be to develop sites on them. There are quite a lot of film enthusiasts out there, so hopefully these could be quite popular.

Singular vs Plural

1. Singular - Relates to the whole genre, the industry. Nice name but limited customer base. Could try Channel 4 / Film 4 and things of that nature.

2. Plural. Relates to the films themselves so you could sell films or have an affiliate link with Amazon. Now you could do this with the singular but I feel the (s) makes this option the stronger.

spot on - exactly what i was going to say but .....
anyway larger customer base for the plural = more potential income = greater domain value

:D
