Anybody with one foot need a spare boot? (Size 8)

Ummmm, anybody want to buy one boot?! It's ideal don't you know for those with just one foot (the left).

This appears to be a genuine listing on eBay that's just finished. The better half just e-mailed it to me.

I'm honestly not taking the micky or poking fun at any amputee, but I had tears of laughter reading this!

Actually, it might be far too niche of a market, but that listing makes me wonder about the utility of a service that could help "pair" amputees with matching shoe sizes so that they could shop for footwear together in some way (whether f-to-f or online). A shopping buddy service. Of course, it may well be that most amputees would wear regular footwear over a prosthetic in any case - I must confess that I simply don't know enough to be able to comment on that.

Interesting concept. My wife has a whole closet full of shoes/boots she does not wear.. We often donate to the Salvation Army..
