Check the whois to see if the nameservers have been changed to sedoparking. Sometimes registrars can delay change over request.
If they have, you don't need to forward.
Reason I say this is in the past a name I had did a similar thing and it was due to trying to park and point at the same time...
The issue mentioned earlier could be a simple dns cache issue caused by delays...
