Improve Acorn Another new auction feed: .ie domains

Hello domainers,

A new domain has been added to the auction feed, .ie (Ireland ccTLD). Other than Ireland being a neighbouring country - I think .ie domains have a lot of potential for words ending in "ie".

We have three marketplaces integrated: Dynadot, Namecheap, and Sedo.

Currently, there are no domains. But! Which domain marketplaces do you want to see there?

In my opinion the more extensions you add to this the less it becomes a page to visit.
Look through the history of this forum - .uk, .co.uk, .org.uk (and a few .me.uk)

Hi, we have a number of Irish users > this resource is created for them

@Systreg, you are based in the Ireland, are you? Do you invest in .ie names?

Many of the keyword domain names in .IE are long gone. As with most ccTLDs, the .COM domaining rules only work up to a certain point. The .IE ccTLD dominates the Irish market and anyone considering targeting that market has to have a .IE domain name for their brand or it will be a very steep uphill climb to get recognised. From what I remember, there are some Irish domain sales sites. They are not on the same scale as other ccTLDs as there are only about 330K .IE domain names. With a strong ccTLD, the extension is almost invisible to users. This makes geographical terms a lot more imporant as outside the brands, people almost navigate on a keyword+geo basis. The second largest ccTLD in the Irish market (based on ,UK counts on Irish hosters) is the .UK rather than the .EU. It is about 28.4K .UK domain names to around 9.6K detected .EU domain names. Some of it is the Northern Ireland overlap in the market but a lot of registrants have their equivalent .co.uk domain names for their brands. Due to its history, the .IE is a very business orientated ccTLD. The initial regfee might be low for some registrars. The renewal fees can be multiples of .COM (approximately 28 Sterling or so).

I have just checked that today there are no live .ie auctions from the marketplaces currently integrated in our live feed.

do you know any marketplace apart from Afternic (not yet integrated) that could have these? Integrated: Dynadot, Namecheap and Sedo, though none of them have the .ie stock in auctions.

also, this shows a great opportunity for someone to start going after the Irish market - seems like a beautiful "blue ocean".

I find these useful but I wondered if we could insert multiple keywords, so if a domain contains x or y then show results for both. An example could be 'loan' and 'finance' - it would then show all results for domains which have either within them. Is this possible?

I'd also like email alerts for a list of keywords too.

Thank you!! And, you have just made 2 "killer" feature requests..

We will finish:
1) optimizing the live auctions process
2) need to publish .be, .nl and .eu live auction feeds at 27.be
3) need to create more seo filters

.. and after that should look into your suggestions:
4) multiple keywords
5) email alerts when a domain name with spefic keywords show up on the auction marketplaces we track (luckily we run our own smtp server for this - so smtp costs can't hold us back)

@Admin, have I missed something in the middle?
