Please note:
Unfortunately your entry contained errors.
You must first enter your asking price before you can cancel the negotiations!

why cant you just cancel and let the buyer come back with an offer of more than £110

you know the offers of £110 are just taking the p***

.

yep, have 3 this morning all 110

i just reply back with 50k and let them cancel :)

Why not set a higher minimum? If you set the minimum at e.g. 2,000 pounds you'll only hear from the serious folks.

now why didn't we think of that!! :D

I find it quite amusing (and annoying) with the 100 pounds sedo fee + a token couple of pints for a domain and then when informed of an expected, but not unreasonable price, the potential buyer will claim during negotiations that the domain is not that good anyway....... so please, why were you offering in the first place!

The problem with setting a minimum of say £2000 or say £500 is that potential buyers will think that is very close to the price you want (I know I wouldn't bid much above a set min level). I think it is time sedo did something to kill off these £110 bids. Now if they were to bring in two categories i.e. bargain basement with no minimum bid and premium showcase with a £500 minimum bid then potential buyers would know the min bid was not set by the seller but by sedo's own system (Sedo could flag up 'This domain is part of Sedo's premium showcase and bids of under £500 will not be considered - please bid again'). So when you add domains you tick bargain basement or premium showcase. The silly bidders would go away and we would all save time and money. I got so fed up with these silly bids that I took most of our domains off for sale and the click thro rate improved dramatically, so we're earning more each day. I don't suppose we are better off in the long run but our domain portfolio is not being weakened by sales.

i'd rather mull over an over for £200 cash for those desperate moments (even though the sedo process takes about 6 wks to complete) than get excited about a disappointing £10
