I've also noticed a big drop back over the last couple of day, almost back to the levels before the revamp. I've been thinking hard about why this might be.

Perhaps someone turned the Sedo Pro Booster dial down :(

Yesterday's figure now in...

Not a good as usual but still better than most days prior to the changes...

In a way, not surprised as it was a saturday on a BH weekend...

Today back, clockin' and rockin' as usual...

Earnings have plummeted to the level before they were when the new Sedo customised parking pages were launched :(

Very disappointing and, if this continues, will have no choice but to switch to provider offering fairer click rates.

Agreed that revenue is way down today. One of our best domains that was earning over $2 per click before the revamp is down to .13 :( Hope that this is a temporary blip

can sedo confirm that this ongoing occurrence is standard practice or some kind of temporary anomaly?

Revenue now dropped to below pre-change levels!

All those hours spent customisation each the parking page of each domain name seems have been a waste of time.

I'm still doing better but it would be courteous if somebody from Sedo could address these issues because clearly the improvements are not as advertised for everybody. I've seen similar threads on other forums with no input from Sedo at all!

Stephen.

Hi everyone,

Starting mid week of last week, Sedo also noticed some rather low numbers for some of our clients. The result is, many ads which were provided to Sedo were paying out lower than we desired. We have since been in contact with our advertising partner to ensure that our clients will be receiving higher paying advertisements from now on.

Kind regards,

Your Sedo Team

So Sedo is changing ad feed soon & suddenly Google start serving 2 cent ads on Sedo pages, but remove the $5 cap on ND pages.

Hmmmm...

i noticed this, i changed my keywords to compensate, not alot of
difference.

118 clicks
PPC €0.06

Stephen.

Just checked the RPC for my a/c.

08/29/06 €0.18
08/30/06 €0.16
08/31/06 €0.15
09/01/06 €0.13
09/02/06 €0.14
09/03/06 €0.13
09/04/06 €0.12
09/05/06 €0.11

At this rate I will be paying them in a fortnight. LOL

I'd like to know how the advert suppliers (if not google) have such an influence over the PPC rates that they can just change them like that?

in terms of adsense bidding is always fairly consistant. If i bid $1 one day it would be a miracle if it was $0.06 the next month for the same term and more than likey situation is that i've spelt the term wrong.

So for terms that were pulling $2 the other month - were does all the other money gone?

the sedo response has also been very "corperate" which kind of leads you to believe somethings up?

and to think i nearly moved all my "eggs into on basket"

remember that phrase - wise words

To be fair to Sedo, from the UK perspective the timing of the changes was possibly wrong. The dip in earnings could be partly attributable to the end of August holiday getaway effect. Perhaps better to wait until the end of September to get a clearer picture of things before rushing to judgement. If there are problems Sedo ought to be given that time to fix them. After that....well,...err?

I recently moved a couple of names to sedo, using their new pages and one name that consistently get's around 10-15 veiws a day was only getting 2-3, and it got 0 clicks, i moved it back to namedrive and its got a 70% click rate.

A couple of the other names i moved are getting a better PPC but less uniques, it's a bit weired that a name should get less uniques, i can understand if it got less clicks because of page layout and keywords e.t.c....?

Maybe the uniques on sedo are under reported to make CTR look better?
(This is not an acusation just a theory)

I really would be speculating so I won't offer an opinion on that theory.

I do think there might be some bugs though in the new Sedo system. Is it possible to have ppc earnings for a domain that hasn't, according to my account, received any clicks? I've got several showing this odd behaviour this month. Very small sums of money but it shouldn't be happening at all, should it?

Something just doesn't seem quite right overall at the moment. Not enough money obviously , but generally the pattern of uniques and clicks seem off kilter. I can't put my finger on it. I have to say that the revamp doesn't quite ring true.
