an odd puzzle ...

Ahhh I read it wrongly so didn’t have an answer. I thought it asked “What North West Town am I using”, “clues below”.

I’m thinking of a Northern Town that had a name you could use, I came up with sale (as in sail) then I was trying to work out how it fitted the clues. I had “Three blind mice, SEE how they run” which I changed to sea to fit the narrative. Then for the compass I thought North as in the North Sea and then I associated The Beatles with Liverpool and their docks and people setting sail.

I think the problem is with the question setter, Guess no more quiz questions today, maybe best if i stop trashing the thread with nonsense questions. And on that note, what word has all the vowels in the correct order?

You had a go, just the way I interpreted it!

Not sure on the vowel question, I'm sure I could Google the answer but that's not in the spirit!
