Could someone appraise these for me, please. I purchased these 2 domains a few minutes ago, I was quite surprised that the first one was still available with it having had 1 million exact searches last month, wish I could find a few more like that, any good?

musiccds.org.uk
Google keywords "music cds", 1,000,000 exact searches in October - avg 673,000 searches per month for the last 12 months - cpc £0.59. All the other tld's taken, only stuff like .tv and .cc etc left

cdplayer.org.uk
Google keywords "cd player", 110,000 exact searches in October - avg 60,500 searches per month for the last 12 months - cpc £0.53. The only other tld left is a .name

This had dropped to the bottom of the page as there have been a lot of appraisal requests lately, I also have another one for appraisal as well as the 2 above:

damaged.org.uk
Google keywords "damaged", 550,000 exact searches in October - avg 301,000 searches per month for the last 12 months - cpc £0.67. All other tld's apart from .name taken.

Hmm... musiccds and cdplayer...I'd say not worth much undeveloped.

You see... CD's are pretty much dead these days when it comes to music with MP3's, iPods, sandisks and all other new stuff coming up... Probably the CD player will have the fate of the casette player in a few years time.

I would develop these two instead of trying to sell them as they are...

Damaged.org.uk ... mid ££ to low £££

Hope this helps...

Neither of the first two names suits the .org extension, and even if they were .co.uk's or .coms they wouldn't be worth much, as loreden says the format is out of date.

damaged is probably the best but still isn't a great keyword, i think you would struggle to think of how to develop it.

Hi, thanks for the replies, what, you mean they're not worth thousands

Oh, I don't know about that, I wouldn't say there were dead, not if people are like me :), I only have CD's, I've never seen an iPod or an MP3 player before, and I don't know anyone who has either of those things, not sure what a Sandisk is, all I know is that they make SD memory cards, do they have a music players as well then?

That sounds a bit more promising, if someone offered me the upper end of your estimate, I would be very tempted to sell it.

I came across the damaged name whilst looking at motor related names, it could be used for a garage, car repairs, car salvagers, recovered/stolen/damaged/salvaged cars etc.

I need to decide if I want to try and sell it to fund other domain purchases, or just park it permanently, and renew the domain every 2 years, hmmm.

congrats we have our first 90yo domainer...

goign by those comments you could be in the wrong game if you are lookign to make money.. good luck

I understand it has possible uses, but monetizing it is another matter, and as to your second point, i would think you would be lucky to make £20 a year from parking it, selling it you may get £100, so it's not really a life changing decision either way.
