As you can tell by my numerous responses, some attitudes on this thread have really annoyed me (although I fully understand that I might be annoying others too, differing opinions are interesting, please don't take what I say personally).

Well, these names have been listed so many times before, one might be forgiven any of them are fair game, as they've not been purchased previously

I fully agree with the above. It may be helpful for some to remember that personal/business circumstances change, if an offer was not responded to previously it does not mean that the name will not sell for that price (or lower) today.

If names are posted in a low priced thread then an interested party would not be doing decent business if they piled in with a high offer.

Hi Alan,

I understand, and I did this thread like this to get lots of interest as it has happened! :D

Although if people cant read thats not my fault, when you buy anything always look for the small print.

this is an offers section, and i gave an indication of price - what more do you want from me? oh i get it a 5k name for £20

take a hike as they say in the usa. :D

People should learn from Frank as he knows what hes talking about and understood my post fine.

I dont really care if no names get sold, rather that than some newbie trying to buy some cream for £20.

I said 5% of them names are not £20 if you dont know values of domain names then your better off out of this game ;)

Have a good evening, and I am sure there is a few people who are angry they didnt get a 5k name for £20 but hey...

You obviously did this to get the thread attention as you admit to and that is what you got so well done so far.

What I don't get is how you think that interest will translate into a high offer sale.

Most likely it will result in a lot of people feeling stupid after offering you £20 for a £xxxx domain.

I'm sure this thread will never get offers in the £xxxxs. If you have received such an offer from this then I'll eat my hat.

Sure it will give your premium domains a little exposure but not to a buying audience.

So all in all it just looks like you are having a little fun with this one. Lure 'em in and then tell them where to stick their lo-balls. :p

Very true mate, and I am getting alot of PMs so its working alright, and maybe some big sales to come out of it.

I am after been selling domain names on here for over 10 years so I think I know what i am doing ;)

And after all, who offers the best names at the best prices..... me.

Thanks and keep the PMs coming nice to have a chat :D

Guys, a batch of 39 names might be getting sold for £20 each Alan can check my PMs to verify,

Dont miss out but dont try and shaft me either :D

I knew it wouldnt be long for MR invincible to come crawling from under his rock! :O) it was a figure of speach.

Why waste your time - not to say everyone elses?

Why respond with 'those names are more than £20, do you want to increase your offer?'

Well no, if I want to play guessing games I'll play with my kids.

You've put yourself forward in this thread as the man who knows when it comes to valuing domains...but it seems you can't place a value on your own.

If anyone asks me for a price for a name I'm selling, I give them one. If you know what you're doing, you can. You have nothing to gain by being coy about the value of your assets when you're dealing with buyers.

I think the most important lesson here has been overlooked. "Alot" is not a word.

Didn't Frank buy some £20 gambling names from DB and sell them for £xxxx about a month later???

Case closed :D

I just think it is a bit of a cheek that he puts this thread up and then insults people who think they can get names for £20...

Why not split the list and put the sub £50 domains in the bargain basement section?

Would that not put an end to all this confusion?

Yeah he did and well done to Frank, I think there is alot of moaning minies on this forum, did someone mention wasting time?? Ask Frank if he wasted his time dealing buying names from me, if you cannot see the potential then your wasting your time in domains.

Thanks for all the replies I love a good chat :D

I am not the one complaining, Its the potentail buyers who had the heart set on a 5k name for £20 for not reading the original post :D

Please dont forget this is posted in offers section and I can charge what I want to who I want, thats my right as the seller.

Many of my buyers bulk buy so I give them a good deal, others only buy one so I can not do such a good deal, but they are still a bargain.

I wonder what you charge for a domain

Fecking hell you can talk for england, shouldnt you be snuggled upto next to some blonde peice :D

Just in case you're referring to me there as I was the first to throw my hat in the ring - I'm not complaining about not getting a 'name' (I won't say 5k name as they weren't, were they) but I do have an issue with the time wasting aspect of how you've chosen to market your names - this isn't 'The Price Is Right'.

So, for the record - what is the price for garstang.co.uk?

Hi brewsters its £5,000 for that domain you want, paypal accepted. I also have the .com at £10,000

Just sold one about 5 mins ago for £20 alan can check pms and confirm

I'm not doubting you sold one for £20.

5k for garstang.co.uk - thanks but no thanks.

Jesus DB, you're starting to sound like that bloke who had all the LDN names. People are trying to be constructive so listen to them for a second rather than trying to come up with clever answers all the time.

I'll give you an example of a name I have no idea what value you place on - anxietysymptoms co uk - quite a nice name, and one I've considered buying from you before. But this is about the 12th time I've seen it listed from you, this could be because a. you have valued it at a price higher than the offers you receive or b. it's never received an offer because I'm the only one who is interested in it and you will be happy to let it go for 20 quid. Either is fine, but I don't want to waste my time with a 20 quid offer and you turn around and ask for a grand. Which is why saying you will take offers on 95% names is both off putting and frustrating for the buyer.

Can you understand it from other people's view now?
