Wanted: Domain Appraisal Actresses.eu appraisal help pls?

Hi i own Actresses.eu and was wondering what anyone thought of it..? i have no developed website for it as of yet but i will be doing so very soon as i think its a winner and i have started designing galleries as we speak but not put them up live..

Sedos appraisal was $12,500 i felt it was abit high but apparantly its a very popular searched term which it is anyway.

I know its a .eu extension (which are not amazing) hence im not really looking to sell it just yet unless it was a very tempting offer.. My plan was to keep it for the next 5-10 years and see how the .eu pans out lol..

Any thoughts?

PS. it also gets a pile of type ins! not sure if its ppl looking for adult content or for acting purposes lol..

Should be a fairly good name for traffic purposes ... have you tried looking up similar .eu sales? See namebio.com.

Actresses.com seems parked at sedo at the moment so no hope in finding out exactly how much the .com would be worth and or no idea on earth why they havent developed such a good .com brand! such a waste..

Im guessing if i develop mine out then the traffic should start rolling in even more so, far past type ins as ill have some SE indexing going on and hopefully numerous backlinks appearing..

Its a tricky one as you can imagine how much it costs to get the rights to use images of real everyday hollywood actresses etc.. so id also need to find a way around that too!

Contacting their agents would probably work ...

I could see this name selling in the thousands of Euros ... I would think about putting it in a high profile auction to see how it does.

Thanks for your kind words, its well appreciated! makes up for the day ive had at work today! lol.

I used to work for that girl band Atomic Kitten's management and i worked with a few agents and they are total money grabbers and nowhere near on a hollywood level lol, so i guess ill have to sort out some sort of budget for paying to use any pics on actresses galleries..

I was thinking about putting it into a good auction but not sure what to set the reserve at thats the main issue, any ideas what youd realistically be happy letting it go for?. not sure how accurate the sedo appraisals are $12,500 is alot for a .eu i think..

The other option is the holding onto it for a few years as collateral and producing a site for it and seeing how it goes and if its traffic and value changes for the better futther down the line as if its already a tasty name as it is im guessing i could up its value even more with abit of effort and time passing.. i dont sound like much of a domain flipper do i lol.

UK exacts are only 1,900. Personally I'd probably use a £1.5k reserve for the first auction and see how it does, but that's a very personal choice.

thank you for your help and advice.. just building my initial site for it now and will be putting it into auction around march 2011 i think, that way xmas is out the way for buyers and by march ppl will be back on track..
