after reading all of this I still don't know what the domain was. (not that its any of my business, but I'm just curious.)
Same here, enquiring minds need to know

...Woopwoop if you where playing chess you just got beat by a grand master. that should be your lesson...
1. Make my biggest offer for the domain up front in the email (like websaway said)

You go fishing to catch fish.
Not every time do you land them.
The same for domains.
Edwin has just arrived back from his fishing trip
..sending emails and letters offering large amounts of dosh for domains to random people in corporate organisations who are most likely going to be completely clueless - is that really a good way to start?
Anyway, its all over now - what was the domain?
I mean what's the big secret, I want know what the big deal was about?
It's not a secret but I don't think that it should be put in this thread (PM Edwin for the info).
Edwin has just arrived back from his fishing trip
you were fortunate, you were not dealing with the welsh domain mafia ( just joking lads )
awesome thread!
Learning tough lessons hurts... not making the same mistake again is the key.
Edwin, this has generated some interest. Could be good opportunity to flip it via domainlore etc
Brilliant thread.
Firstly not making sure the decision maker was able to decide. Classic mistake
Secondly losing the sale to a pro. That hurts
Thirdly Having a good old moan on here only to be put in place by Edwin and half of Acorn. Tarred and feathered lol
Finally flipping it on domain lore for a profit - now that's even funnier
Bloody brilliant - More of the same please;-)
...Thirdly Having a good old moan on here only to be put in place by Edwin and half of Acorn. Tarred and feathered lol...
Perfect summary.
Woop Woop, I feel your pain. Same thing has happened to me (They refused to sell it even though it was dropping and a well known catcher managed to get it, they lost out on money, they lost the domain, and I didn't get a domain I have wanted for quite a while)
Sometimes you get them, sometimes you dont
EDIT: And yes... Edwin... Flipping a domain... In the same sentence?
It's not going to go on DomainLore or anywhere else. This one's a keeper.
you are leaking infoAdmin said:Hello. So, do anyone happen to know anything about Whois and how it can be accessed?
