They would fare well...

Rather than just US these sites are geared toward the English speaking market in general... content wise. The geography of the ads (google adsense and others) depends on YOUR settings with the affiliate as well as the source of traffic, google is really advanced in telling where you came from, what you want based on current site content (even domain name) and geography of your IP address. So ads are served accordingly. If someone from the UK is looking that is what kind of ads they will get. Only half the customers are US and the other half are Canada, UK and Australia.
