The five minute rule only takes it to just before five past, five minutes after the bid which was within five minutes of the close

Bruce, all bids so far have been valid. Sniper rule kicked in:

Sniper Rule: If a bid is within 5 mins of auction end time, this will cause the auction to be extended by 5 mins from that bid

Which was correct then, was it extended by five minutes, or forever until bidding stopped?

I wanted to keep going, but was delayed by the need for filler text, doh!

As long as each bid was within 5 mins of previous bid it would of kept going. Fraser won the auction at £280.
