No offence but one of the worst I've seen!

I wouldn't go that far, but i'm very unsure about your pricing, you seem to be registering a lot of mediocre names and demanding/expecting to make loads of cash very fast.

I wish the domain world worked the way you seem to perceive it, but unfortunately it just doesn't.

Before I registered any more names, i'd sit down and do some research on how the domain name market works, learn as much as you can, decide on which path you wish to take, that could be registering names on the basis of keyword or specialising in a certain genre of domains (Movies, Sports etc), or you could go after drops, traffic domains, parking...there are many ways to get into the domain game.

Please take this as constructive critism, it's not meant as a put down...when I started in this game I wasted a lot of money on domains I assumed would be worth a great deal, only to find out that they were free to register for a reason.

For someone looking to build a copycat site (Which is unlikely now as there are probably already 100's up), the domain could be worth £30ish max if they were unable to find anything else to register.

Yes well said J2theIZZO. You can also look at the other top level & UK domain extensions as this is also an indication of domain popularity.

For example, for the domain you have just registered, there is not a single other extension taken - this should tell you that the domain is unpopular and why would someone pay £1,000 when they can choose from 7 or more other extensions for around £5? or for £35 reg them all!

There are so many people (and Companies) in the domain game now, especially in the .COM marketspace that the chances of a .COM (worth £1,000 for a quick sale) and all the other extensions for the same domain being available to manually reg are nigh on impossible.

We have all regged names on impulse but it can be an expensive habit if you do it every time. Do your research first and you can soon build up a domain portfolio that can make you a nice monthly income and a significant profit when you sell one.

Also checkout dnforum.com to get a better idea of .COM domain prices. There are hundreds posted there from $5 upwards.

Cheers everyone..!

Watch that space...I personally think that it's better than all the other names, including the 'real one.'

Trouble is the market is not dictated by what YOU think!! If only it were that simple. Lots of good advice given previously by people who have been in this game a while and I'd listen before you end up wasting more money.
