I can't even find where to start with the Amazon API plus i've found a lot of people complaining that Amazon have limited the number of searches.

I'm wondering if anyone has used any good Amazon Wordpress plugins such as WP Zon Builder, WP AmaNiche or ReviewAZON. Which is best for creating an affiliate store without using astore or other crappy Amazon widgets.

I had this problems as to say I didnt want to use widgets or text links.

This maybe of some use just replace with item ID and your ID

Amazon.co.uk/dp/Item-IDxxxxxxHB/?tag=Your-IDXXXXXXt-21

See http://www.footgloves.co.uk/ and the right hand images to see it working

Hope it helps

Andy

Nice trick but not quite what i need.

Looking to build a Wordpress site with individual pages for Amazon products that get auto generated themselves when I select the products I want to sell.

(My brothers got some of those foot glove things. I think they look horrible but he totally loves them. Definately a marmite type product.)

After a 2 year break from them I'm starting to investigate using Amazon for affiliate sites once again.

See my sig for a WP site that I knocked up yesterday and am trialling WP Robot to populate it. The plugin is very flexible as it can use other aff schemes, add articles and more. It takes a while to get to grips with setting it up but I think I'm getting there lol.

><(((o>

It's not using WordPress, But might be worth checking out this, it's quite simple and uses Amazon and can be customised etc.

I'm using this script ^^

It's OK-ish. It uses amazon node numbers, which arnt exactly perfect.
Some stores work ok, Some dont.

http://www.ipodaccesories.co.uk/ is an example.

Heres an example of a fastamazon site that DOESNT work to well,
http://camping-supplies.co.uk/

I prefer AOM and also i'm trying to get Amazon ECS (Niche) script to work, but have failed so far.

All in all, i do get some good results from amazon stores, but as said before, its a shame about the £7 maximum commission, especialy when your selling TV's and other products for over a grand!

There's another thread in this section covering the sort of thing i'm after right Amazon Affiliate Stores

I've been toying around with custom building affiliate data feeds sites for ages but the feeds are crap and it's too much effort.

It feels more and more likely that an auto robot blog with an self updating Amazon feed is the way to go for easy to set up affiliate sites. In terms of conversions for general products i've found Amazon head and shoulders above any other affiliate schemes, regardless of the 1 day cookie and £7.00 limit. Proves how well Amazon are trusted.
