will a domain drop at midnight on its drop date?

if a domain name is due to drop on the 9th of october for example , at what time does it drop on the 9th of october , would it be midnight , or later in the day , or can it drop say 2 days later ?

how precise is the time and date for drops ?

If it's a .uk domain, any time in that 24 hour period.
