Where can links be bought?

Having looked at backlink profiles of various websites recently it's quite obvious to see many have paid for links.

The paid link websites are all similar and are all using blogrolls but have been registered to different names and obviously don't have contact information, so I guess they are part of a network?

If you can't beat them, join them... so I want to buy links. Not interested in anyone with just one or two websites as it will be too much hassle in the long term (will be wanting to purchase dozens of links for various projects).

Anyone know where I'm able to do this? Not expecting anything to be posted in the thread, so feel free to PM.

Thanks

J

what subject matter are you into? insurance, fashion?

as you want relevant links and also the cost will be dependant on the subject matter

The cost should be dependent on the quality of the site, not the subject matter. Relevant links aren't essential...I'd go for higher quality against relevancy.

If you do a backlink analysis of your competitors/the sites in the top positions for your keywords using opensiteexplorer.org, you should come across sites with paid links. You can also check out ebuzzing and sponsoredreviews.com and contact the site owners directly.

Various subjects, will pay according to the quality of the backlinks.

Thanks, I've checked out competitors already and found ones with paid backlinks but there is of course no way to contact the website owners or mentions of advertising on the paid link websites.

Here's one obvious example I just plucked from a competitor profile which contains paid backlinks in the sidebar: myloansconsolidated.com (I would guess this is part of a network?)

What I really need are places to buy blogroll links and article links, as this is what seems to be working well for the competition (and has worked for me before with a few of my own links, but I need more). It's going to be a hassle to be paying dozens of website owners for single links at a time, so any ideas where these can be bought more 'in bulk'?

There's a 'Contact' link at the top of the site with an email address and a form.

There are some sites around, like textlinkbrokers, but they are regularly picked up on by Google and the values slashed. Buying single links at a time ensures you get the best quality ones you can and you can negotiate on price. Worth doing as good links are expensive.
