The funny thing is this is not the first time there's been a hit with this name - Snoop Dogg's very first hit back in 1993 was "What's My Name" and hit top 10 in Billboard in the US as well as #1 in rap. Then of course American Pie in the US popularized "What's my name, bitch?" Bottom line - it's a popular phrase that sticks in people's minds.
