What's with different registrars

I have just won 2 .com domains using SN and each time they gave me a different registrar! What's with that?

The same happens with Pool, very annoying. I guess it's just a way for them to get more income. Worse still with Pool, you have to keep your domain with the new company for at least three months in a hope you sign up to their expensive offerings for simply redirecting or changing nameserves, I haven't transfered any out yet so not sure what the damage will be for that yet.

Random! Never expected that...very annoying. I already have domains with 5 different registrars, now SN are going to add a new one each time?!

Snapnames have agreements with various registrars to release names to them (so they will always catch names from certain registars) so the names will always be all over the place with Pool and Snapnames because of these agreements.

I notice that the caught names go to a domain parking script until you move the nameservers! So the registrars must make a little every time.
