It is a strange one. More to this than we know. If it was just a spat, then I doubt it would make the headlines, but calling the diver a "pedo" was a very odd comment to make.

When asked about Elon's sub Vern Unsworth said "he can stick it where the sun doesn't shine" which makes you (me) think there is a bit more ongoing to this.

I would expect most people, still on a high from the success of the mission, would say something nice along the lines of "it was great that he wanted to help, but...", not just start slagging him.

I'm probably repeating rubbish, but from what I heard it was because the diver lives in Thailand, so Elon is hinting if you like Thailand it's only for sex tourism? so was a bit of an insult to Thailand really if anything
