What will UK become?

Ummm UK wouldn't change.

GB would be gone, but .UK would still exist. This unless my history is totally screwed.

We would just be The United Kingdom of England, Wales and Northern Ireland as far I can tell ?

If Scotland leave the UK, can bag-pipes be made illegal?

Starting to feel the pressure of your presumed £x,xxx tied up in that asset, and thinking you might not get it back? :-|

Off the cuff remark in jest.. 1 snappy reply and now a probing question, did not expect it.

That's Acorn Domains! I think my "joke" is funnier than your attempt. ;-)

Would you have enjoyed it more if I said wotsit.

I know just the word probably brings a smile to your face now :)

Don't the scottish call us "rUK" for Rest of UK when they define someone not from scotland ?

???
I take it you are not a visitor to Scotland
We call you English, we call the Irish, Irish and we call the Welsh, Welsh.

I have never heard of "rUK" until the last few days.

Nope, only visited scotland on a few occasions to paisley.

I had come across rUK a few times in the past (one of my facebook friends is heavily into politics), as I understand it, its a written shorthand term, just like in small print where you are respondent or claimant, or party 1, that kinda thing. Kinda easier than "from the UK, but not of scotland", Shakespeare said it better "where for art thou english" ;)

Most of scots mates use more colourful language than you to describe the english, no issues with the welsh or irish tho.

That's because you are a mate and it's called banter. Just as you no doubt have names for them.

If they use the same terms generally for anyone from England, then they are bigoted + very narrow minded and you need to expand your Scottish social circle. ;)

Next time you pop up, drop me a line and we can go for a beer. Always happy to get the crack with one of my neighbours.

.

I'd Second what scooter says.pretty similar to my English mates calling me a Jock

Well, with the vote in, maybe we should now be called 'United Kingdom (and Scotland somewhere at the back)'
