Time to reminisce.........

What was your first .co.uk purchase/registration? Was it a future moneyspinner?

I think mine was headfor.co.uk back in 2004, which I still have.

my first .co.uk was monaghan.co.uk, this was registered many years ago, I didn't even put a web site on it for many years. It was registered long before Nominet took over and has been my main email contact ever since.

mine was either streetspy .co.uk or promocopy .com can't remember which. They were regged for business ideas which I never took further than doing a business plan. :(

mine would be dvdupdate.co.uk, back in 1999. Still got it, along with the .com. I ran a DVD price comparison site on it for ages, but unfortunately before affiliate deals were as good as they are today

Mine must have been my son's name back in 2000, oh and I reg'd londonleasings.co.uk thinking it was great but then let it go a few years ago.

Mine was flightsearchers.co.uk, never did anything with it and let it expire a few years on. There have been many more since then :(

mine was ourlinks.co.uk

made some money initial via simple affiliate programs

mine was moderntimes.co.uk back in 1999.

only got into "domaining" in 2004 though... shame on me :)

tifosi.co.uk...

and I wish I'd caught flightsearchers.co.uk! ^ :)

And got into domains in 98 when I first started looking! doh!

mine was speednetworker.co.uk - obviously a completely cr@p name but I had my reasons!

I registered it not long after speeddater launched and there were a few people attempting to launch a similar service for business people to network. Figured if one of these took off there might be value in the name. Unfortunately my domain picks haven't got much better as the years have past!!
