My first attempt at an affiliate site:

www.personallingerie.com

would appreciate any thoughts and comments. There are a few minor defects that i am looking at but I increasingly becoming aware that a good looking site is all about the details anyway i can work on these.

its just an experiment really to see if i can make more money from domain names as a developed sites than just parking them on sedo - so far no luck

appreciate any feedback and comments - the nastier the better!

havent got around to doing my own photos yet - my missus might have something to say about filling the front room with semi clad women even though it might make me money

Should do well if you use PPC, but if you are looking at search engine referrals then there is some work to be done.

From first glance it looks like it is generated from a product feed from figleaves, which brings up the subject of duplicate content.

I looked at your first category Bras and the first product, this is the description - This underwired bra has seam free cups and is comfortable and perfect for the smooth look you need. if you do a search for this on Google you will see some, not all, of the sites that use this product feed.

You will get little if any traffic if you use the product feed like this, you need to mix it up a bit, start by making a list of the top key phrases this feed uses then try doing a find and replace. The more you replace the more unique your site will be, the more traffic you will get and the more money you will make.

Don't worry too much if it spoils the look of your site a bit, at the end of the day it's about making money, not winning awards. I'd rather have a crap site at the top of the search engines than a fantastic one at the bottom. :grin:

thanks paul that sounds like good practical advice, I can definety see the benefits in doing that. Will need a little more planning on my part as currently i just overwrite the database every week/month (when ever it is) I think i will have to do something to merge the databases so i retain the old (modified data) But i can see that the effort will be worth it in the long run

remove the space between her head and body and I would prefer it. She looks like her head is detached the way it is.
