voucher code auto updating software, any help appreciated

Hi, my wife is looking to run a voucher code site, not a major one but specific to her interests. That said, it will till take some updating, i was wondering if anyone could recommend a good solution. I kow of icodes and FMTC but wondering if there were any better ones.

Something to take the sting out of the updating and checking of codes really.

Affiliate links are fine in the solution if you know any and will buy through them if good

Also interested in this. Had considered iCodes a few times, but was never quite sold.

Have spoken to @nick-harper in the past about whether his http://www.finditforless.co.uk/ could be repackaged too, as that would work really well alongside product reviews.

I do actually have an API for Find It For Less so it can be integrated into different sites easily. I haven't gone as far as voucher codes yet as I haven't had much time to work on it.

In terms of product searching, it can be done with about 5 lines of code with a search query.

Problem with these kind of sites is the donkey work. As you say, it will take some updating. Probably the reason why there's not many service providers such as icodes.

Unlike offers the affiliate networks tend not to produce feeds for codes - for a number of reasons - so you're at the mercy of adhoc emails/mailshots for each affiliate you've signed up for.

Best you'll probably get is to have something like a WP site with custom post-types etc and cron jobs to archive / tidy up expired codes. Input would be manual. I do something similar for the weboffers.co.uk site I run, but that's feed based.

I wrote the icws2 WP plugin for icodes years ago, but haven't got round to rewriting it for current WP standards.
