Hi All,

I'm having a think about my T-Shirt site again...
that thread is now closed so have done a new thread hope that's OK ?

As before, I welcome any general feedback but more specifically It would be great to hear :

- I'm using csv feeds from the merchants, and adding / changing some content to help with the uniqueness. As far as I can tell this is working OK, search traffic is pretty good already, however I would prefer daily updates of prices etc using xml feeds... thing is that would lose me the unique content. Any ways round this or am I missing something about what is best practice here?

- What you think I should have as the "call to action button" on a product page such as this Banksy New York Rat T-Shirt. "Shop Now" has converted pretty badly. I have a theory that visitors might be confused as they may expect to be able to choose colours, sizes and styles first ?

- I'm also linking out from the image and the "view larger image" button. Do you think this is too shady / typical affiliate "trick" or fair enough ?

Many Thanks,

Rob

I allways find something like "more info" works well.

Thanks Mat,

I'm thinking of either:

- A button saying "More Info - sizes / colours" OR
- An image of a drop-down selector for sizes and colours (too shady ?!)

I should really test all kinds of things.
Does anyone know a wordpress plugin for that ?

Are you not able to run an update on the CSV feeds every 24 hours with a cron job? I suppose this is OK as long as the merchant updates the feed just as regularly.

Definitely test different colours and text for the buttons. Many (including myself) have found that red buttons work well.
