Good morning all,

We're looking to sell this domain, which was once an online shop selling camping gear. The supplier went into adminsitration some time ago and we kept the site running just in case we relaunched it with the new supplier. We didn't, and we get calls from people daily, who are looking to buy the products listed on the site. We're looking to sell the domain as we have no further plans to run an online camping store and the traffic/customers (who are ready to spend money) are obviously worth something to an affiliate marketer or indeed an online retailer.

All traffic is organic results mostly from google.

Last month: 2334 Uniques / 6189 page views

Not earth-shattering stats there but bear in mind the site stopped trading around 2 or 3 years ago, so product range is currently out of date and little to nothing has been done to add new content.

Looking at the site I think it would need to be redone (table based coding, seo, design, etc) so valuing this totally on the domain and I wouldn't want to insult. Did you have a figure in mind? (offers in region of)

thanks for your comments. No insults felt, I realise the site is very outdated and it's certainly not up the standards we're used to these days We actually produced a mockup design for a new site before the supplier went bust which was more in line with how we'd do things today.

Based on the good name and taking at least some of the trading history into account (not to mention customer data which would also be available should you want to run the online shop with us) we think £2k is reasonable.

Regarding comments on trading history not being a guarantee for the future, we do genuinely receieve calls from customers who are looking to buy (despite the basket informing the site is not currently trading) so I should think from day 1 a revived site would be taking orders.
