.uk.com domain names - general query

I was looking at .uk.com domain names and one person I know advised they may be disbanded (for a better word) in years to come.

Does anyone have any information on them?

Its too good a revenue maker for the .uk.com owners to have its business model changed or turned off. As long as key registries like 123reg and netsol keep selling them punters will keep buying them.

If you have lots to purchase and they will agree to sign u up as a reseller then yes go direct to centralnic and negotiate a good price... you will be able to get them considerably cheaper than other resellers marked up prices

If you have only one or two you want to buy just go via 123reg or someone who's probably running .uk.com promotions.
