The month column indicates the multiples paid, so the portfolio earns an average over 3 months of 1,022.56 €. To purchase the portfolio an offer is made in the form of multiple months times the average earnings. In the above case 26 months times 1,022.56 € is 26,586.47 €.

26 months is the buy it now price and over 20 months is the min offer, no bids under 20 month multiple. If an offer of 26 months multiple is offered then the bidder wins.

The dollar column is the same just converted as we have many US buyers.

Phil,

Could you say how many months (stable) earnings these figures are based on?

Eg if these are newly parked / newly dropped names and the traffic is SERPs traffic then this would be likely to drop off as the pages are deindexed, but if the earnings quoted from parking have been stable over the last 12 months then it's obviously a different matter.

Same question from me as from Ty_, this makes it sound like the portfolio has only been earning for 3 months.

Just a thought but it might make it easier if you quote figures in Sterling when trying to sell .uk domains on a UK site. I doubt few of us know what a Euro is worth and the Dollar changes every time I need to check.

I am interested in the longevity as well, because asking for 2+ years revenue on such a short basis insane.

Do you have a reg date range ? Like all over 12 months old, all between 9-15 months old, something like that ?

I am personally not interested in this, but I do know someone who buys *stable* traffic names.

1.00 EUR=0.876303 GBP This equates to 1,022.56 EUR=896.072 GBP So in turn the BIN price is £23,298.05. But the sales price will need to convert to Euros

129 domains are from before the end of 2008 and from the beginning of 2007, if you have any questions drop me line and i will send you the portfolio.

The purchasing of traffic has been going on for along time and for those who are involved you will be aware that it is standard to provide 90 days stats, so no this is not insane. If you are looking for references join the group in linked in you will find that we have sold 7 portfolios all within two weeks of advertising, all of which offered 3 months stats and some buyers offered public feedback in the group some months later after testing the traffic and seeing a positive return.

The winning bidder receives all the optimisation keywords so there will be nothing to do to the portfolio except park it. Please look at the portfolio then ask questions, it makes perfect sense really.

Hey Phil,
I was more saying if the domains are mostly new regs recently parked, then basing 26 months revenue on the first few months of parking post-drop would be insane. Given the age of the domains, it would appear they are stable earners.

I have forwarded the info, hopefully he'll make a deal and be a happy camper.
