TheInternet is now used as a web based email platform. The operating system is proved by Atmail (see www.atmail.com for full system details and capabilities) and we host the site on Rackspace cloud.
We bought a 2000 user licence and extra user licences are not expensive. We have modified the interface to offer extra functionality like checking available names, suggesting names and reserving “golden” names to sell at a later date (for example [email protected])
There are options to place advertisements in the outgoing mail footers and on the login pages. This really is a massive opportunity and a golden opportunity to develop an existing site with the best domain name in the UK. Every new user will be a saleable asset and opportunities like this rarely come round at a price that is affordable.
The current dedicated server cost is 2 pence an hour.
I am working on a couple of other ventures and don’t have time, or the energy for any others.
I will consider all offers, as a guide I have spent about £5000 on the site and am including a top domain. Don’t be put off making an offer, I do want it sold.

Maybe Caz, its almost impossible now though to get anything like a decent email name at any of the hotmail, gmail sites though, so I think it still has potential within the uk

Couldn't agree more - although - the more recent release of Google Apps is giving people more choice for free.

Good luck with it, I think you have a great domain and an equally great website to go with it.

Hi Sean
Advertising, we can place ads on the login page and footer of outgoing mail sent by all users. I think we can do it with incoming mail too. We intended to use affiliate partnerships to add banners and product offers. I'm sure with some effort we could do this based on the email content, like hotmail do.
