It certainly seems a bit silly using the company name in the referring URL without first obtaining permission. (hoping I haven't done anything similar - doubt it)

****At the bottom there's a headline 'Skype affiliate can keep Skyp.com' was that because they gave permission intially I wonder?

The guy who used those tesco names should have known when his luck was up, i.e. when the solicitors gave him the offer to settle out of Court. He clearly had a "pair of 2's" up against a "pair of aces" and yet he carried on raising the pot.
Wonder how much the costs were, I guess maybe £20,000.
By the way, have a look at Asda names ,lol. He'll be next no doubt.

i can see that TD were going to pay £26,688 in May 2005 in comission - nice!!!

Tesco was alerted when Elogicom's monthly commission entitlement jumped from £75.42 in April 2005 to £26,688 in May 2005. The latter sum was not paid out.

So on .co.uk domains, total Ov w/ext for Elogicom was approx. total 443 (tescodiets was owned by tesco so not included).

So OV w/ext of 443 equates to £26,000 at 2% = £1,300,000 of sales

I don't think so? I bet there was ppc involved? but what do I know. Anyone else with figures to match?

That's what I first thought too, but if you dig a little further, Tesco are paying 3% once you reach a certain figure in a month and up to £16 for every person who signs up to their GI Diet program. I expect most of these earnings come from the diet program in which case it would equate to about 1,668 sign ups which is a little more believable.

I never knew there was so much money to be made out of diets, well I'm off to develop all my GI Diet domains
