When .tel names first came on the market, I registered just a few after getting caught up a little in the hype of it all.
Not long after I declined an offer of £100 for one of them.
(something I obviously regret now)
Anyway, since then they ended up on my 'forgotten about' list.
However, I haven't heard of anyone using them or trading in them since they came on the scene.
Upon searching the Acorn forums, I found a few threads about them, for example:
http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/domain-name-wanted/52793-looking-buy-tel-domain-names.html
and
http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/domain-name-news/57972-momentum-grows-tel-uk-reuters.html
So I can see that one or two established members had .tel domains in their portfolio, albeit nearly 3 years ago, and other members loathed .tel domains.
I'd be interested to know if anyone still has .tel domains, still buys them, or what the current opinion on them (value-wise) is now, 3 years on.
Many thanks,
Steve
