Wanted: Service T Shirt Makers?

Hey all

Just about to launch a logo competition on 99 designs and was wondering if there are any t-shirt makers on here or recommendations?

I'm thinking t-shirts with emblem (logo) and possible a slogan but undecided.

Has anyone had t-shirts made for their business, if so by whom?

Only need a small quantity initially for promotion purposes.

*note to self: do 99 designs do t-shirts? I have investigated t-shirt makers before but can't remember who they are now

I had shirts done for one of my sites and he did small orders. The main cost is the screen (if you want screenprinted as opposed to transfer.). I think that was about £30+ for a single screen. Then had Gildan shirts printed as I found them better quality than fruit of the loom etc...
I'll try and dig out his details as not used him for a while.

I had a couple of shirts done by vistaprint for our chocolate making business, these seem OK so far and price was good for just a couple.

My mate Paul runs http://www.october.co.uk - based in Nottingham and can help you throughout the whole process if needed.

He's been doing it for 20 years now and prints for lots of small fashion houses - he won't be the cheapest out there, but he really knows his stuff.

I had a small number of shirts embroidered by Talking T's http://www.talkingts.co.uk/ (they were local so I just walked in and talked to them, but they seem to be open to online orders too).

I can't remember what I paid as it was 6 years ago, but it wasn't "crazy money" and I was happy with the result. If anyone saw me at Internet World (or indeed watched my video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxopSv89Nt0 ) I'm talking about the grey Memorable Domains polo shirts...

We always use and still do pineapplejoes, have done for a decade. Orders from a half dozen to 5,000 always done fine.
