This domain has approx 30-40 uniques per day, and was recently appraised for 5-7k

i'm just looking to clear it off my books and willing to listen to sensible offers. it could work as a great affliate site, new business networking, money making scheme / get rich quick! - you know how great they are!!!

so, make me an offer on here or pm, who knows i might say yes..

Hi,

I am interested, but please can you answer the following ;)

1. Who valued it at this price ?

2. Where does the traffic come from ? I am assuming the 30-40 visitors a day are from ebay, as the domain was only regged on 14th april and on your ebay listing you said you bought it for £4495 ???

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WWW-STARTUPTO...oryZ3767QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Thanks

i actually bought the domain back in april yes, for £4495, from a broker, but before buying it had it appraised from sedo. Yes, it is listed on ebay, but I did'nt know that the domain was only registered when I paid for it, I had been told and shown proof of it being around for 2.5 years previously.

Is that what you are saying?

What you should do, is post up the SEDO appraisal here, then you should get a definate buyer as it sounds like a good buy for someone :-D

Thanks for your answers anyway:rolleyes:

Good luck with the sale

Did you really pay £4495 for a name that was available to register? That's a big lesson to learn. :(

Who brokered that deal?

Some ones pulled your pants down mate.....

All is not lost, I have some magic beans I can offer in exchange for the domain ?

They are the original ones from Jack and the beanstalk, that way you can plant them, grow the beanstalk, climb up and steal £4495 from the nasty giant.

Pay no attention to the BIN price, I have an apprasial from Jack himself for these beans ;)

That way everyone is a winner ;)

Let me know if we have a deal

Leave the guy alone !

Who doesn't make stuff up when they're trying to sell a name? LOL

Make stuff up when your selling to an end user, but your wasting your time and credibility coming on here and trying to flog it by making stuff up.

im not making anything up, according to these posts ive bought a domain for 4495 that could have been for regfee. Now, I didnt know that, I bought it from someone who was supposedly selling on the domain, but if you are correct, then i've bought something that was clearly overpriced. But having said that, you make money and you lose money, and as long as your making more than your losing then everything is good.

i'm still happy to listen to offers on this domain, despite the other comments -

Completely true. I agree, plus he's doing the same thing with his consolesonline.net post, so now it's insulting our intelligence.... How dare you!

What do you think this site is? CartoonNetwork.com? ;)

I thought something was up with the consoles thread but just brushed it off... this however just narks me. :(

None of us are going to buy your domain unless its £20. So, please leave with your crazy figures and go pitch at digital point or something yeah? :)

Thankies :)

crazy figures?

i do believe i am in the wrong place - sorry for offending anyone by offering something for more than £20.

Have you got anymore names for sale. I could be interested in a bulk deal.

Would you consider taking May20thWindUpMerchant.co.uk in part exchange?

It has already been appraised at 15pence. :p

i guess these people dont sell domains for more than £20 - is that why they are so bitter?

i fail to see what i've done wrong? administrator?

although, its good that this forum has actually woken up! lol

even if it is at the expense of me.

OK, show us how you found this gem for £4495

Show us who appraised it at £5-7K

Show us the proof that you actually paid the money.

then I think everyone will admit they got it wrong and apologise to you.

We deal with names on far higher numbers, but they are names that deserve the higher value. Alas sarcasm is hard to pick up in a forum post obviously.

Either way, yes, you have offended us by insulting intelligence. You don't come over as an experienced domainer, fail to take advice from those that are, and try to pitch odd sales figures at us with ebay auctions on domains that we are not really interested in.... but when we tell you this you just carry on blah blah blah. :)

I don't mean it in a nasty way, I am just trying to save us all from this madness :)

So, feel free to list your domains, for sale, at any price you like in a thread. That is fine. But don't start making all these posts that go around the houses... everyone else seems to manage with listing their domains and either getting a sale or not getting a sale. :)

Just sayin'

EDIT: The irony of me spelling intelligence wrong :)
