Launched in mid 2009 and currently in it's second phase of public beta, Sport Driven (www.sportdriven.co.uk) is the UK's only dedicated virtual marketplace allowing sports clubs and athletes to promote their sponsorship and advertising opportunities directly to brands and potential sponsors.

There's few people within the professional sports industry who havn't heard of Sport Driven, a fantastic achievement for a brand that has had no marketing budget and only a few months to establish itself.
The Website
SportDriven.co.uk is a fully developed website built with high quality XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP. To date, it has had over £8,000 in outsourced development alone and hundreds of man-hours. It features a visually appealing interface and a bespoke CMS. The sign-up and payment process is completely automated (PayPal Website Payments Pro integration) and members have access to their own custom control panel where they're able to completely manage their account.

The CMS has been specifically developed to allow for additional development and we can provide you with the contact information for the developers who have worked on the site from day one at incredibly competitive rates.

Revenue Details
Unfortunately Sport Driven grew at a rate we were unable to cope with as resources were extremely limited. The website has been ticking over with subscriptions however soon after launch it became obvious that our real market were the thousands of semi-pro clubs and athletes in the UK.
The website acts as the perfect platform in which to generate leads and offer sponsorship sales work on a commission basis. The average commission rate for sports sponsorship work is around the 30% mark, it's an extremely profitable and scalable business.
Current revenue figures for subscriptions aren't worth much of a mention, but the website has directly resulted in profits from commission based work. We currently have an agreed exclusive 3-year contract with a major soccer leagues brand potentially worth £18k/year. This is based on 30% commission payable upon completion of a sponsorship agreement. It's a genuine, highly profitable and very achievable contract for anyone who has experience within high-end sponsorship sales or anyone with a strong sales background.
We have been offered a series of potentially very profitable contracts however simply don't have the knowledge or resources to take them on - We originally set out to target the grassroots market.
