3. It gets about 100 u/v a month and is a total waste to be parked as it has a 15.94% ctr and could do very well if developed into a mobile phone site.

4. It is indexed in google and also has links on a .edu website

would it be a problem having sony in the domain name?

Hi Mally,

I am not sure tbh but if it was a site promoting sony ericsson phones and not competitors then I am sure it would be fine, I have a few sites myself (eg pink blackberry and some others) and never had any problems.

This domain has been online for 8 years and was running a mobile phone shop before on it.

I am not expecting massive offers for this domain, just not like £10 either

That domain name might well have been dropped by one part of Sony, but knowing what their Basingstoke office is all about (i updated some 20 or so of their engineers there on some of the latest comms technologies only last month), i'd suggest you read up about that facility. They're well known as leaders in their field, so just drop the name, it isn't worth the hassle.
