I've wasted years typing in those infernal slashes....

I love reminding my American buddies whose internet it really is, i.e. Britain/Europe, when those yanks get on their "We lead the world in tech" stances. I know much of tech is based on a series of developments, but the WWW is one hell of poke in the eye for the yank!

....which brings me to ask now...what has happened to our tech industry in UK?? For anyone interested there was a great documentary on Sinclair on the beeb recently.

..lets get cracking on some stellar ideas here in good ol UK!

Not sure why but getting an AVG error page:

It oddly does work without the //, never tried it before.

However try putting a http:www into wordpress, regex destruction, my hole blog died of formatting errors, took like 3 hours to locate 1 single link without the slashes.
