I'm not sure what you mean by "Premium Gtld" section. (one mans meat and all that) Obviously out of self interest i'd like to see a 'revamped' and active Gtld section, it would encourage more of the International crowd and it does seem Acorn already has a fair number of members active in the Gtlds and indeed overseas members

However, lets not forget Acorn is run voluntarily by the mods, I'm not sure the majority of members would welcome such a development.

Perhaps just a slight tweaking of the current "other domains" section would suffice

Yup, good suggestion. As someone who is interested in Global extensions as well as UK, I would appreciate a development. That's really what the poll is for: to see what the general consensus is on the site. Of course we want it to be predominantly for the Uk crowd but I know lots of us have some nice com, etc and it would be good to be able to give the AD community better exposure to them.

Oh and by "premium section", I mean a dedicated area for premium GTLDs, similar to the "premium domains" area that seems to be only used for UK domains.

One option would be to make Premium domain threads "sticky" so they stay at the top of the current forum listings, for a while at least. I don't really want to add more forums.

All posters ought to be issued with a dictionary so they know what 'premium' means, likewise 'pronounceable'.

yes, been saying for ages

:( indeed Rob and a short session in Marketing for a little direction on what makes for a suitable Brand/Product/promotional name

so, any chance of this admin?

as most people with good/great .com's are put off posting any in current section as just get's lost in the sea of .info, .co and average .coms
also can't post for a week so they disappear

I think a truly premium section for .com's would be great

LLL , one and two word generics etc

I'm considering it, what COMs do people have, any examples of what you would submit to "premium"?

For me the problem with .COMs is that every thing you can think of is virtually is taken so people post any old crap.
