Hi,
ive had an offer of £1500 for the following 3 and i have to decide by tomorrow whether to sell:-

carrepair.co.uk
cheapfurniture.co.uk
rentalhouses.co.uk

Would you sell?

Thanks

Robert

carrepair.co.uk it's not the plural but £350
cheapfurniture.co.uk £1k plus
rentalhouses.co.uk its not rental homes but £150

depends if you need the money, otherwise see above, it's about right I think.

Then again, cheap furniture... cheap is ok when its comes to travel and holidays but cheap furniture... I don't know, take it. Reaserch more than take it.

I agree cheapfurniture.co.uk is the best of these domains, but as Lee said, cheap has negative connotations when it comes to furniture, as in cheap ... will fall apart ... but it still probably has some mileage ...

Apprciate your comments. I agree completely with what youve said. the dot com of rentalhouses sold for 80k recently. i know that doesnt mean that much but a big company was prepared to develop the name. Cheap furniture is a funny one to value but it is relatively generic. As for car repair, its a well searched for phrase.

Anyhow, my opinion was that they were worth more but offers dont come up everyday. Do i need the money? well with the amount ive sepnt on names in the last 4 months then its getting that way :)

I bought robotic.co.uk for 1800 and selling these is like a straight swap almost so ill probably sell.

thanks

Congrats you're doing what I don't, I moved abroad and saw women and a few countries, when i should have reinvested and grew quickly. Nevermind. Sell 'em, get your money back, I think you're getting a good amount.

I'd sell at that Rob, cheapfurniture may be negative word but it's searched for, good value at £1500 for the 3 so I would sell and re-invest improving your portfolio like you seem to be doing.

How is the deal being done?

Has he come out with the first figure of £1500? If it seems like you can play a bit try saying you were really after a bit more. Try him at £2000 and then work to somewhere in the middle...

If he is likely to get pissed off at haggling or has stated that is his one and only offer and to take it or leave it, then I would sell.

Just something telling me that if it was me you could push for a tiny bit more...

I agree,

and for the sake of a £100 or so its prob not worth it to haggle around on the price. But I find it part of the fun of selling Domain Names. If you do think you should get a bit more try. The way I see it if he wants the Domains he will either say yes, or no and take them for £1500.

If he says no and you completly lose the deal then he probably is having second thoughts and using it as an easy excuse to stop the deal going ahead!

Apprecaited guys so thanks.

I had left it a while as i was reluctant to sell them but ive now acceptd the offer. These were some of my best names so pains me but i have to pay for all the crap ones ive regged over the years too :) of which there are many.
