With great regret I am now selling a website I have been working on...

I'm selling this only because I need to bring some money in for another project.

The site has been online for about a year and half and gets a small amount traffic from Google Yahoo and Bing. Traffic can be dramatically improved though through adding content. The site regularly appears on the first page of Bing for Short Breaks UK.

Revenue can be earned by selling listings to accommodations, or via affiliate schemes such as active hotels etc.

I have been charging £25.00 for a permanent listing, and sometimes run a half price offer, and I get plenty of takers. If you purchase the site you can set it up to how ever much you want to charge, even charge a yearly fee to new advertisers if you want.

The site is pretty much ready to use.

You will need hosting running PHP5 and 1 MYSQL database, I will move the site to your hosting account if required.

The site is powered by WSN links, which I have customised and configured to run perfectly as an accommodation directory.

I would like £500 + Nominet fees for this site or a very near offer.

Yeah, I have been selling listing at £25.00 or £12.50 for a permanent listing, so there will be no money earned from accommodations already on there.

There is nothing to stop the new owner charging new signups a yearly fee though.

I offered to pay yesterday evening and you've just put me off since. I think it's only fair people know how you do business.

I'm not going to argue with you on here, you wanted proof of earnings reports that I was unable to supply in the time frame you wanted, and you did not commit to buy.

I maintain, I have the right to sell to whoever I feel most comfortable with and I think it is very out of order that you give me negative feedback on here even though we had no transaction.

Yes you were first to offer to buy the site, but you said to me that you needed to complete by morning because you were going away to a wedding, you wanted reports that I would have had trouble putting together, analytics reports were easy, but proof of earning reports would have taken hours. I felt I would not safely be able to complete with you before you went away so I sold to the other buyer.

Okay - I PM'd you originally saying you have your asking price - just send me a google analytics report and revenue report. You said I was first, it was mine and you'd get it together for me.

You then stalled over several hours (only replying a couple of times) saying you couldnt find the payments in paypal from the site (and no mention of the webstats) - yet you managed to give me a breakdown of exactly how many sales the site had done, how did you get that report? I doubt it would have taken 'hours' to generate any sort of reports for such a smallscale website.

I asked for that - I heard nothing.
I then PM'd again offering money the same evening - I heard nothing.
I PM'd this morning asking what was happening - I heard nothing.

Then I find you've sold it someone else, I PM you again and you suddenly are around and responding. It doesnt look good on your part. If you had wanted an auction, then you should have said - as it was you said you wanted that price, I offered, you accepted. You then went back on the deal. Hold you hand up and admit it, move on.

Don't waste my time though. I played by the rules, you didn't.
