Hi,

I've got two domains up for auction on Sedo from 17th of this month.

www.ChristmasCards.co.uk
www.BirthdayPresents.co.uk

Instead of just a parking page coming up, I would prefer the actual auction page to appear so people to the site realise it is going to be auctioned soon.

Curretnyl the page looks like this:

www.christmascards.co.uk

I want it to look like this:

http://www.sedo.com/auction/auction_detail.php?language=e&auction_id=29331&tracked=&partnerid=14460

Any thoughts please!
Cheers, Phil

Sedo

I changed Nameservers to Sedo... will I need to change them back to do this?

Thanks

Yes, you will.

Either to your registrars nameservers (123) and add a forward there or to your own webhosting companies nameservers and add an htaccess redirect.

Thanks

Have put in a non-framed re-direct via 123-reg.
Will see if it works ok in morning!

Thanks for the help.

123-reg nameservers

OK... Changed nameservers to 123-reg a while ago.

Name servers:
ns.123-reg.co.uk
ns2.123-reg.co.uk

However ChristmasCards.co.uk doesn't seem to be showing up at all. Is it because it takes 24-48hrs to resolve?

I'm hoping that this will sort itself out as I go on holiday for 10 days (in about 2 hrs time) and the auction starts before I get back !

Cheers, Phil

123-reg

As I write this post I'm am holding to speak to a 123-reg advisor at 10p/min...

So far I've held for the best part of 15 minutes...

No Problems

123-reg say it is all set up correctly - Just waiting to propagate.

Oh well fingers crossed this sorts itself else my auctions may well fall flat :???:

123-reg!

OK...

No joy then :mad::mad:

Has anyone else had problems with web forwarding from 123-reg¿

I have 6 minutes left before my last remaining Euro runs out and I´ve had no joy from 123-reg support...

I think the Nameservers are set up correctly... I´ve checked the forwarding address and that also is set up correctly.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, because at the moment no-one knows my domains are for auction - people don´t even know the domains even exist!

Thanks, Phil
