Thanks - good read

especially comments at bottom of page about the wisdom of selling an established website at around 2.5 to 3 times annual revenue. A lot think that is on the low side but depends very much on the quality of the domain you are including i.e. if you are using a 'category killer' domain it ought to sell for a lot more.

Yes I think for me the comments on selling for a higher multiple if the site is still growing at a strong rate are interesting too!

At the end of the day people get generic domains or they dont and its going to be easier selling them for top dollar if theres revenue behind them.

Proof of this today when trying to sell one of my domains to an end user. They would rather buy an established site with rankings and earnings than "just a good domain"..... sigh.....okay then but its going to cost you 10x the purchase price now lol
